Here are two pictures of the Twin Gums. One shows they are two trees, and one shows how they can look like one tree.

The Twin Gums are located on the south side of Larapinta Drive between the Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasm turnoffs and are a popular photo subject. With the Western MacDonnell Ranges as a backdrop they were made prominent when aboriginal artist Albert Namatjira used them as a subject of one of his paintings.
