The Eureka Stockade is an off-site building dedicated to preserving the diggers' history. It pretty much recreates the whole story and by the time you get to this building, it is repetitive and unnecessary.
But...if you haven't seen the sound and light show, which we did, perhaps it wouldn't seem repetitive. The Eureka Stockade is a modern building with some very impressive, larger than life, statues. When you walk into a room, usually a digger will "talk to you" as if you had walked into a scene. They use sound effects well.
Our ticket also gained us entry to the Gold Museum. We took no pictures in the museum. In the Gold Museum, we got to see the history of Gold in the area and learned some facts - like gold makes a different sound than other metals when detected by a metal detector.
