We enjoyed sitting by the river panning for gold. The museum seeds the river each day with a small amount of gold.
Shaun found three pieces which we got to take home. They are barely visable to the nakid eye! But, it's gold. :-)
Me - I spent $6 to buy a grabbag which just might have $100 gold nugget in it. Right. I got a bag of red clay. Ah well. Shaun got to laught at me for wasting the money and LA appreciated my effort.
